My Mission

My mission is to make energy-based stress reduction tools more accessible to the general public, by providing individual, group, and workplace sessions in an inviting, safe, and non-judgmental environment.

It is my belief that our physical reality and life experiences are profoundly influenced by our thoughts, emotions, and subconscious patterns. By using certain tools to bring our thoughts and emotions into the light of awareness and to reprogram subconscious patterns, we can repair and heal our minds and bodies alike. Furthermore, by practicing slowing down and being still, we can learn to live in the now and discover our highest potential. My goal is to empower my clients to use self-care tools for stress and anxiety relief, so that they can lead more fulfilling, healthy, and productive lives.

About Me (Marianna Giokas)

I am a former consultant and stay-at-home mom who realized the importance of self-care, self-love, and emotional health the hard way.

A few years ago, at the age of 39, I was faced with a serious health condition that made me spiral into a state of panic, anxiety, and fear. Questions such as “why me?”, “why now?” and “what did I do wrong?” popped up constantly in my mind, and feelings of sadness, regret, and even anger surfaced regularly.

Although I didn’t realize it at the time, getting sick was a blessing in disguise. My first instinct on how to deal with my overwhelming emotions was to start taking the anti-anxiety medication I was prescribed. However, I happened to stumble upon the website of a holistic wellness retreat, and decided to give it a try. It was there when I was first introduced to alternative tools for reducing stress and anxiety, processing and releasing negative emotions, and “making space” for personal growth. My experience at that retreat was so profound and transformative, that I continued to seek and practice those stress-relief tools when I returned home. Getting sick was in fact the start of an eye-opening, self-realization journey for me.

The immense improvements I experienced in my emotional health and personal growth over the last few years, inspired me to find a way of making these modalities more accessible to others in our community. Witnessing other people visibly transform before my eyes at the sessions I attended, further propelled me to pursue my dream of helping others. I decided to focus on the tools that had the greatest impact on me, and obtain the necessary training to be able to share them with others. I am a certified Breathwork practitioner, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, and EFT/Tapping Practitioner. I have trained with Clarity Breathwork, the Ananda School of Yoga and Meditation, the Mindfulness Exercises Institute, the School of Positive Transformation, and EFT Universe. I have also obtained a certification in trauma-informed EFT by Commonwealth Educational seminars.

My goal is to share the tools I’ve trained in and practice with as many people as possible, as they can help almost everyone who seeks a positive change in their life. I particularly enjoy working in group settings, as I believe that receiving support and feedback in a loving community can accelerate transformation and growth.
